Trinity’s High Protein French Toast with Omega 3’s!

Yes it is amazing, Yes you will love it and Yes your body will thank you! French toast was a special weekend breakfast I looked forward to as a kid. However, at that time, Wonder bread was our bread of choice which had little to no nutritional value. I was recently scanning the freezer of breads at Whole Foods and came upon this flax and spelt bread. Bread is not a staple in my home but I found myself craving something more filling with substantial protein. One Degree just happened to be on sale for $3.99, sold! It consists of organic sprouted spelt, water, organic flax, organic whole raisins, organic vital wheat gluten yeast and unrefined salt. I stear away from wheat and gluten but since it was last on the ingredient list, and this was an occasional treat, I went for it. It was worth it! I have had this French toast for lunch the past three days feeling as if I was having a decadent dessert. I say lunch because my morning always consists of my super soul shake. I am also a firm believer that you can have “breakfast” anytime of the day :). This is another great way to get more protein and omega 3’s into your children’s meals as well. It only takes ten minutes and it is guaranteed to be a hit. Enjoy :)!
